Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit that builds or rehabilitates homes in partnership with local families and individuals. The homeownership program provides an affordable mortgage for a stable and decent home.

Right now we are accepting applications for these properties in South Bend only.  The first step to an application is attending an Application Meeting. 

Before applying, please consider Habitat’s application guidelines. First, any applicant must meet the income guidelines listed above. In addition, any applicant must meet credit guidelines, where monthly debts and delinquent debts are considered. All applicants must have a need for housing and a willingness to partner with Habitat, completing 250-500 hours of sweat equity. Any applicant who does not meet these criteria will not be approved.
