Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit that builds or rehabilitates homes in partnership with local families and individuals. The homeownership program provides an affordable mortgage for a stable and decent home.

Right now we are accepting applications for these properties in South Bend only.  The first step to an application is setting up a meeting at our office.

Before setting up a meeting, please consider Habitat’s application guidelines. First, any applicant must meet income guidelines of at least $19,450 gross (pre-tax) per year. In addition, any applicant must meet credit guidelines, where monthly debts and delinquent debts are considered. All applicants must have a need for housing and a willingness to partner with Habitat, completing 250-500 hours of sweat equity. Any applicant who does not meet these criteria will not be approved.
