Volunteer Opportunities

The 35th Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project Site needs volunteers year round to complete this project.

  • 38 housing projects schedule in South Bend & Mishawaka to be completed this year
  • Help prepare the homes & the Carter Work Project site to be ready for the build week
  • Each home is scheduled to be at a different stage of completeness by August 26, 2018
  • Will need help after the build week to finish the homes and have them ready for families to live in

 

  • Volunteers can be designated through a corporate sponsor, or be individuals interested in helping
  • Volunteer fee is $100 per day if not a corporate sponsored volunteer
  • Local volunteers not sponsored must be available for full week participation
  • Sponsored volunteers and local volunteers will begin registration through the registration portal provided by Habitat for Humanity International starting April 16, 2018. More information below.

Volunteers for the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project Build Week

Volunteer Participation August 27-31, 2018

Volunteers must be available for full day participation from 7:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m.

Corporate/Sponsor Volunteers

  • Corporate/Sponsor volunteer registration begins April 16, 2018 through the Habitat for Humanity International registration portal.

     

  • Volunteers using build slots received from sponsor benefits will need to be designated as a builder through the sponsor partner before registering through the online registration portal on April 16, 2018.

Local Volunteers

  • Local volunteer registration will be open April 16, 2018

     

  • Build fee is $500 for the week to offset the cost of safety equipment, insurance, meals and snacks. No transportation or hotel stay provided.

     

  • Full week participation is required

     

  • Spaces are limited and not guaranteed
